2. Services

We provide custom web design and development services primarily for licensed therapists. Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Custom design and hand-coded development
  • Hosting on renewable-energy servers
  • SEO and copywriting
  • Domain purchase and management
  • Additional services such as HIPAA-compliant forms, blogs, extra pages, and ongoing support

The scope of services for each project will be defined in a written agreement between Quiet Mind Web Design and the client.


3. Pricing and Payment

We offer the following pricing plans for our services:

  • Flat Fee + Hosting Plan: $3,000 one-time payment (in two installments) + $25/month hosting.
  • Ongoing Journey Plan: $125/month, cancel anytime. Includes priority support and a redesign after 3 years.
  • Additional services may be purchased at the rates listed on our Pricing page.
  • Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule. Late or missed payments may result in suspension of hosting or services.
  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Upon full payment of the Flat Fee plan, the client owns the final website design, text, and images provided by the client.

  • We retain the right to showcase the completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials.
  • Any code, frameworks, or proprietary tools created by Quiet Mind Web Design remain our intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate content, images, and information in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, disclosures, and regulations applicable to their profession.
  • Maintaining responsibility for all content published on their website.

Quiet Mind Web Design is not liable for legal or ethical issues arising from client-provided materials.


6. Revisions

Flat Fee projects include up to two rounds of revisions for copy and design.

Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.


7. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement in writing.

In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of all completed work and expenses incurred up to the date of termination.

For Ongoing Journey plans, clients may cancel anytime. Hosting and support will cease at the end of the billing cycle.


8. Hosting and Third-Party Services

Hosting is included with all plans and provided via third-party vendors using renewable energy.

We cannot guarantee 100% uptime or protection from unforeseen outages.

We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services (e.g., domain registrars, form providers, payment processors).


9. Liability

Our websites are built with accessibility, speed, and best practices in mind, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes such as increased clients or revenue.

We are not responsible for damages resulting from website downtime, hacking, or misuse of the site after delivery.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet Mind Web Design disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


10. Privacy

We do not use cookies or track visitors. Information is only collected when voluntarily submitted via the contact form. See our Privacy Policy for more details.


11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
